Editor Preferences

Current Line

Select the Highlight current line option to highlight the line where the cursor is placed.

Indentation

Select the Automatic indentation option to specify that the next line starts at the indentation level of the current line or, if available, use smart auto indentation for current programming language.

Select the Use spaces instead of tabs option to specify that must be used spaces instead of a tab character when Tab key is pressed.

Text Wrapping

Select the Enable text wrapping to avoid having to scroll horizontally. This option break a line to fit your text view size.

Right Margin

Select the Display right margin option to display a vertical line that indicates the right margin.

Use the Right margin position spin box to specify the position of the vertical line.

Brackets Matching

Select the Enable brackets matching option to highlight the corresponding bracket when the cursor is over a bracket character.

The brackets are: ‘(‘, ‘)’, ‘[‘, ‘]’, ‘{‘, ‘}’, ‘<’ and ‘>’.
